At S.A.M, we believe every child can be great at math if they understand it.
Unlike other math enrichment programs, we teach children to understand what math concepts really mean, so that computations are no longer a jumble of numbers and symbols; they hold meaning and dictate numerical relationships. By developing students’ critical thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, we equip them with the tools to tackle math with total confidence.
Sarah is an educator with more than 18 years of experience and sees what schools today are lacking. She opened the S.A.M center with the mission to prepare children for their future, equipping them with problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Teaching is not just a job but a calling to her. Her favorite educational quote is by the famous educator Ivan W. Fitzwater: “The Future of the World is in My Classroom Today!”
She holds a NJ Elementary Teaching Certificate and 3 Master's Degrees in Education, Managerial Sciences, and Applied Linguistics.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 children and planning the next vacation.
